Rain falls  From an empty sky  While the ground withers  And the trees cry   
Pillars of light  Impact a surface of black  And the wind whistles  As it pounds against my back   
as I journey on a darkened path  pillars of light as my guide  
I often try to do the math  when two paths collide   
I sometimes raise my eyes  And look to see some sign  Of what lies  Out of my sight line   
And as I gaze up at the ceiling of air  I stop and wonder where to go  My eyes will always linger there &nbs So, why do the stars shine so?

it makes me sad to see so much hate in the world. so much anger and fear of other people is what is hindering the furthering of society. we could be so much more advanced if we were a more accepting race. people are really quite ignorant and stupid, and it makes me sad to see this.
